We installed Canada’s first Quantum video wall. We also built a 220-inch Planar Direct Light Pro wall at Grosvenor Americas’ Brentwood presentation centre. A video wall earns its place when one screen can’t do the job — a lobby that has to read from across the room, a sales centre showing a floorplan at close to full scale, a restaurant that changes character between lunch and dinner. Below that threshold, a large TV is the better answer and we’ll tell you so. We’ve been building them since 2005, across Vancouver, Whistler, Victoria and Calgary — design, installation, calibration and service all in-house.

Planar, and the Quantum first
We work with Planar, and we completed the first Quantum video wall installation in Canada — a MicroLED wall in a private home. That matters beyond the milestone: fine-pitch MicroLED is what makes a video wall viable in a room you sit close to, rather than a lobby you walk past.
Integration
A video wall is only as good as what drives it. Every one we install ties into the wider AV, lighting and control system, so it wakes on schedule, switches content without anyone touching a remote, and dims when the shades close for a presentation.
We also design for the day something needs fixing. Panels are accessible, spares are specified up front, and the person who calibrated it is the person who comes back.
Why a Video Wall
- It reads from across the room. A 65-inch TV in a lobby is invisible from the door. Scale is the point — content that works at twenty feet, not two.
- It shows things at close to real size. A floorplan on a sales centre wall at near-actual scale changes how someone understands a unit. A brochure can’t do that.
- It changes with the day. Same wall, different content at 9am, noon and 7pm. Lunch menu, then dinner atmosphere. Wayfinding in the morning, brand film in the evening.
- No bezels breaking the image. With LED there’s no black line running through the middle of what you’re showing — the difference between a display and a wall.
- It scales to the space, not the other way round. Panels build to whatever size and shape the wall is — including curved, and including proportions no single screen comes in.
